Serve at Kingsway!
Volunteer Opportunities include:
Helping out with our Kingsway Kids; or on Sundays, join the Welcoming, Greeting or Hospitality teams; or volunteer with Tech or Music. During the week it could be joining our Bread Ministry; recording a video for "Kingsway Announcements", leading or hosting a LifeGroup or Bible study

Kingsway Kids: (Sunday mornings and/or one Friday evening per month)
- on Sundays for when you are scheduled (1 to 3 times a month, your choice), you'll need to arrive at 10:00 am and stay through the duration of the service
- on Fridays (once a month), you'll need to be at the church by 6:15 pm and stay through the duration of the event (approximately 8:15-8:30 pm)
- you'll need an ability to play, talk, and interact with kids K - Gr.7
- an up-to-date criminal record check will be required
Welcoming and Greeting: (Sunday mornings)
- on Sundays for when you are scheduled (1 to 3 times a month, your choice), you'll need to arrive at 10:00 am and welcome people as they arrive, staying available to greet until 10:45 am when you can join the service
- you'll need an ability to smile, speak to people as they arrive, and help direct them if needs arrive
Hospitality: (Sunday mornings)
- on Sundays for when you are scheduled (1 to 3 times a month, your choice), you'll need to arrive at 9:00 am to help set up and prepare the "coffee & conversation" supplies, and help tidy the area and clean the supplies after church (until 12 noon at the latest)
Tech: (Sunday mornings)
- on Sundays for when you are scheduled (1 to 3 times a month, your choice), you'll need to arrive at 9:30 am and stay through to the end of the service (12 noon at the latest)
- you will help set up, operate, and put away the computers and cameras for our on-screen elements during our service
- you'll need a basic understanding of computers (and cameras)
Music: (Sunday mornings)
- on Sundays for when you are scheduled (1 to 3 times a month, your choice), you'll need to arrive at 9:00 am and stay through to the end of the service (12 noon at the latest)
- you'll need a musical ability and the ability to learn and grow as necessary
Bread Ministry: (Tuesday evenings)
- you'll need to be available on Tuesday evenings to collect, sort, and package bread items
- *the ability to drive and use of a car is not necessary but would be helpful
Kingsway Announcements: (recordings need to be emailed to the office before Thursday)
- you'll need to be able to record (on a phone or camera that can send email files) short videos of yourself
- the announcement details will be given to you, you just need to record yourself sharing the information
- the videos will need to be emailed to the church office before Thursday morning (editing is done by Church staff)
Lead or Host a LifeGroup or Bible Study: (various times and dates)
- you'll need to be available on a regular basis
- Hosting: you'll need to open your home or set up a space in the church to welcome people together
- Leading: you'll need to connect with a Pastor and choose a Bible study or video series that you can watch with and discuss with others. And you'll need an ability to create a safe space, and share questions & discuss subjects on the Christian faith and following Jesus
